Happy New Year to you all! Today, I came across this beautiful poem by Minnie Louise Haskins. Her words spoke directly to me as I have made some professional and personal changes for the new year.
We are standing at the threshold of a clean slate and how we choose to live the new days ahead have yet to be written. Will we choose kindness over
spite, patience over intolerance, unity over division and forgiveness over revenge?
Will we trust God with our future and the future of those we Love? God has a wonderful plan for us and we need only 'put our hand in His' and let Him lead.
Jesus asked a blind man that was calling out to him one day, "What do you want from me?" He replied, "Let my eyes be opened!" Jesus touched his eyes and he could see!
Jesus is asking you and me today , "What do you want from me?" Join with me, as I ask Jesus to open my eyes giving me 2020 vision so that I will 'walk by faith and not by sight' through this new year!
Blessings,
Mary
